Rock On is yet another tribute to friendship. Four friends Aditya (Farhan Akhtar), Joe (Arjun Rampal), KD or Killer Drama (Purab Kohli) and Rob (Luke Kenny) of Magik, a rock band, broke up after an unfortunate incident.After 10 years when everyone has chosen his own path in life, KD meets Aditya's wife Sakshi (Prachi Desai) coincidentally. Aditya keeps Sakshi uninformed about Magik and his past life. After knowing about Magik from KD, Sakshi decides to reunite these four friends.Watch the movie to see whether she can make it...
The film has simple but very different story. perhaps few may compare it with Jhankar Beats.But i think except the similarity of a music band everything is different.Similarly the lyrics are quite different.The only thing i didn't like is the death of Rob (Luke Kenny) by brain tumour.That's not at all needed.
Farhan has proved himself as an excellent actor apart from being a very talented director. Most of the songs are sung by Farhan. Arjun Rampal's acting is remarkable..probably first time he did it :).Purab Kohli perfectly fits in a jolly character of KD.. Luke Kenny played a role of matured friend very well.Prachi Desai did a fantastic debut.She looks very stunning. Overall, a very magnificent movie.
What to watch for : Different and quite interesting story, songs with excellent music and simple but impressive lyrics which keep feet throbbing, Farhan Akhatar and Arjun Rampal's acting.And yes ..for gorgeous Prachi Desai.
